Sheringham High School and Sixth Form centre is a popular, rural 11 - 18 comprehensive
school on the North Norfolk coast. There are currently 760 pupils on roll, including 110
in the VI Form.The school was opened in 1957 and throughout the years has seen many
changes. In 1992 the School successfully bid for Grant Maintained status and September
1995 saw the introduction of the VI Form.Pupil numbers have grown from 540 to 760 in the
last six years. The numbers are expected to rise further to about 780. This includes an
estimated 130 in the VI Form.
